Catalyst Youth Summit

The Catalyst Youth Summit was a program led by a group of young volunteers aged between 18- 25. MYAN WA was the main guide in helping the organisers deliver this program. The committee was formed in 2015 after a number of its members participated at the 2014 FUSE National Youth Summit held by MYAN Australia.

What we do

The aim of the summit was to bring multicultural young people together to talk about the issues that are important to them, to work together to create solutions and to have the chance to speak directly to politicians and decision makers about these issues and solutions.

how catalyst works

The three-day summit program provides attendees with:

  • leadership and advocacy trainings,

  • opportunities to hear from inspirational speakers,

  • opportunities to network with politicians and decision makers,

  • opportunities to form friendships with other likeminded young people.
